Yahoo! Help
Why is this information important?
Accurate information is important in case you ever forget your Yahoo! ID or password. We will need to confirm your identity using the birthday, ZIP or postal code, and country (if you're a non-US resident) that you provided during registration or when you last updated your account.

Once we've confirmed your identity, we'll send your ID to the alternate (non-Yahoo!) email address listed on your account. If you need a new password, you can choose to either have your new password displayed on the page by answering your "Security Question," or you can have your new password sent to your alternate email address.

If you have entered any of this information incorrectly or have forgotten what you entered, we will not be able to remind you of your ID or send you a new password.
